Almost all of us know what is good and helpful for us. Not only do we know, we often want it as well. Even though we want it, we do not usually do it. And that is the reason to come to our RESET retreat to create healthy habits and to apply theory to practice.

Become the master of your life!

The RESET RETREAT is a one-week to three-week retreat during which you fully renew your mind and body. Incredible increase of energy, health and productivity is granted to participants. Thanks to a suitable morning & evenings routines, carefully selected activities, rest and healthy meals, you will feel more peaceful, grounded, full of strength and energy, ready to live life more fully. The retreats will be led by Jaromír Opatrný, Petra Gulašiová or Sifu Ješe Gyatso.

The retreat takes place in the scenic setting of Hotel Kouty in the heart of Czechia. It consists of a structured program, which also includes voluntary group and individual activities.  The RESET retreat is also suitable for those of you who need to work on a limited basis, especially over the Internet.

Early bird gets the worm

Thanks to the 6:00 AM wake-up call, you will discover the beauty of morning energy, clarity of mind, morning productivity and potential.

Walking through nature

A walk through the forest, meadow or lake will bring you to more intense or meditative relaxation through contact with nature.

Meditation and work with the mind

Calming and inducing a positive state of mind will bring you a lasting sense of happiness and satisfaction. You gain control of your mind and body, better health, productivity and a sense of fulfillment.

Exercise Chi-kung

Modern Chi-kung Eagle in the Nest will help you recharge your batteries and find deep peace.

Healthy to detox diet

Enjoy healthy and nutritious food. Fasting is also an option. We do not recommend alcohol, although we also enjoy it outside the retreat.

Plenty of sleep and rest

You will fully regenerate in the best sleep phase between 10:00p.m. and 2:00a.m. That's why bedtime is at 9:30 PM.

Sport and body strengthening

Walking, running or sprinting and other exercises and sports strengthen the body, energize, relax the mind, and strengthen self-discipline. Indulge in them based on your taste and possibilities.

Thematic lectures

You will learn interesting ideas and inspiration to work with the mind, exercise, to maintain a strong will, and to increase concentration, productivity, and performance.

We will provide you with professional guidance and support for all activities.

Lecturers

Sifu Yeshe Gyatso

Sifu Yeshe Gyatso was born and lives in Wales, Great Britain. However, his life journey has been tied to the East and its arts from the beginning. On his journey, he received instructions and transmissions from more than thirtyTibetan masters, including Gesh Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche, His Holiness the 14th, the late Dudjom Rinpoche.

At the age of eleven, he began to practice judo, improving his skills for the next eight years. During this time, he received the practice of Zen and the art of katsu (awakening).

Later he devoted himself to karate, zen-shin-riju style, and shotokan in which he reached the level of sandan (third dan black belt). He also studied and practiced several other martial arts including ju-jitsu, aikido and tai-ji.

In 1992, with the support of Dr. Lam, Sifu Yeshe developed the chi-kung system, which he named “Eagle in the Nest”. It was based on chi-kung “Nine Circles” and “Secret Yin & Yang Transmission”, which Sifu Yeshe received from Dr. Lam.

In creating this style, Sifu Yeshe used his experience and knowledge of the nature of the movements he had acquired in martial arts, enriching them with yoga and meditation techniques and principles derived from many years of study and practice within the Tibetan spiritual tradition. This style was specifically designed for the Western world. 

Sifu Yeshe Gyatso have been teaching in the Czech for more than 21 years as well as in other countries such as Denmark, Iceland and America.

Our Western civilization leads a very hurried life. Our mind is busy thinking how best to make a lot of money to live in prosperity and enjoy all the pleasures of this world. There is nothing wrong with that, if we do not forget ourselves, our humanity and lose the ability to enjoy the little things. Our life often resembles the life of a robot, in which burnout, energy loss and health problems can often occur.

I speak from my own experience. I performed each job to the fullest, and at the same time, I gave more than I received. I could not manage my own energy, and I let my body and mind sink to the bottom several times.

Why Chi-kung and Yoga?
Back pain brought me to yoga. I have been practicing it for 5 years, and because I wanted to understand it more, I took a one-year yoga teacher course in Vienna. Yoga helped me to improve my fitness, flexibility. My back pain disappeared, and I learned to relax.

I have also been devoting myself to chi-kung for the second year: working with energy, which is an excellent combination with yoga. After several chi-kung classes – Eagle in the Nest (developed by us who lived in the west), I enrolled for a one-year course for Instructors. It’s a small miracle I experienced and where it moved me.

Both exercises are a beautiful way to find yourself. You begin to become more aware of your body and at the same time, approach it more sensitively. You will start to have more energy and your health and psyche will improve. I live a happier and more satisfying life. I appreciate the little things, the moment “here and now” and most of all I respect myself as I am. Experience and feelings are beyond what words can describe. To experience it is the best way to understand it.

Not only am I an enthusiastic yogi and chi-kung practitioner, I love dancing and spending time in nature barefoot. Yoga and chi-kung offer me a wonderful way of life, learning new things that I can practice in my daily life. I thank everyone who accompanies me on this journey.

Because these effective practices help me so much, I decided to pass them on.

Jaromír Opatrný

RESET originated from my own need to reset from overload and stress to healthier state. First, I practiced this lifestyle in Greece on a boat where I was lucky enough to spend the whole summer, and often alone.

Already after a week of healthy lifestyle, meditation, sports, chi-kung, healthy alcohol-free diet (otherwise I am a lover of good beer and wine) and enough sleep, I feel reborn and every day this feeling deepens even though at the same time, I work intensively via email and telephone and occasionally go to meetings. I want to offer this experience to other people in the beautiful countryside of Vysočina.

I have been working in logistics for 26 years. I lead a life in a very stressful and demanding environment. I started at the age of 17 when I went to New York and worked there as a dishwasher and sweeper in warehouses. After this experience, I started my own business at 18.

About 13 years ago, I felt that I cannot go on like this anymore and I need a change, RESET, and I started to meditate, work with the mind and chi-kung. Despite being non-materialistic activities, my business paradoxically increased more than twenty times and expanded to 8 countries; apparently thanks to working with the mind leading to relaxation, concentration and higher performance.

RESET is here for all who need to regenerate, relax and gain strength for further performance or even push their limits.

Courses can be given to a few people free of charge, at a discount or in installments depending on the individual situation, but it is very individual, and capacity is limited.
